Good Fortune...

This is a Baby Quilt that I have finished recently...
I used Elizabeth Hartman's Charm Pack Baby Quilt Pattern,
 super quick and easy.

The Binding will be dark purple, gosh I love that there are so many Purples around at the moment, now I can indulge my love for them!

It's going to added to the waiting to be bound pile which is slowly shrinking due to the cooler weather we are having recently...yay!

There is nothing worse than binding in the heat.

I have finally finished my Owl Quilt, in the lovely Sunkissed Fabric.
I showed a picture of it loaded on the Gammill, but now you get to see the whole thing!

I'm also finding it very difficult to not cut into this at the moment...
One Very Beautiful Layer Cake.

I'm tossing up between two patterns, when I pick one Vintage Modern will be getting the chop.

Something else I got this week.
Domestic Bliss, looking forward to removing the plastic on this bundle...

I've been Bitten...

When I saw everyone was doing the Farmer’s Wife Quilt sampler I got a bit excited. I had started the Dear Jane Quilt but found the 4.5” blocks just too small, so I thought it was a great opportunity to start a sampler Quilt for myself.

I'm using Strawberry Fields from Fig Tree Quilts
and have really enjoyed putting the Blocks together.
Thanks has to go to Linz on Flicker who posted all the templates in an easy to copy document, 15 pages instead one for every block.
I got them Laminated and have used them like Templastic.
So far I have only made 4 Blocks...
It shouldn't take long to catch up!

The rest of the weekend has been devoted to quilting other peoples Quilts.

This one is my Mother’s. I have done an all-over Feather design and it’s made from Mrs March’s Fabric by Lecien. I’m not sure of the pattern but if you would like to know it I can find out for you!

I have also finished a Baby Quilt for Friends
of ours that have just had a baby Girl.
I used the stand by Baby Quilt pattern by Oh Frannson!
with my last Charm Pack of Hushabye

Now I'm going to be a couch Potato and start stitching
 my Birdie Block for July!

Ready for a Night on the Town!

My Bag is Finished! This is the bag that matches the phone pouch I showed you last time.
Janelle writes fantastic Patterns, this is the most fiddly-looking bag I have attemped for a while.  Normally I find something doesn't quite fit with bags but I am pleased to say all components matches perfectly!

Here's a few Fab Fabrics that arrived this week
Dreaming in French by Patricia Bravo

 Hope Valley by Denyse Schmidt
High Society by Khristian A Howell
Not my fault blame the Aussie Dollar!

2 Things I Know for Sure!

You would think I was Channeling Oprah with a Heading like that!
Firstly : I Love Fabric..
Second : I Don't Care if I Never Cut it up..
Don't get me Wrong I love Quilting but I also Love my Fabric In Big Beautiful Bundles like this one that arrived on my doorstep this week.
It started out a Fat Quarter Bundle, then shrunk to a Fat 8th Bundle, The other half is Mum's.
We both Loved this line so much this was the cheapest way to buy it!
This is what was left on my cutting mat..
Do I need to seek professional help If I don't want to throw the scraps out?
I turned Forty recently this is my Pressie to myself.....
Anyone Know the name of a good Therapist?
