I'm Bad...

I'm Bad...
I really wasn't going to buy these!
I kept telling myself I could live without...Apparently I cannot...

I wasn't sure I liked the latest installment of Birdie Stitches,
but I have to admit it has grown on me since I have finished it!

Helloooo!

Meet Mr Owl...
Remember when I won this from SewCraftyJess?
Well I purchased another 3 charm packs this is what I came up with...
A while back I bought Whooo loves you?  A Quilt Pattern by Brenda Riddle, because it had the cutest owl on it.

This was my first attempt at raw edge applique and I must say that I really enjoyed every moment.

It has inspired me to give Kellie's patterns from Don’t look Now a go!

I have also finished my 2 blocks for Birdie Stitches so I can now say I’m up to date Yay!!!!!
May is definitely my favourite block so far....
Sorry for the Dark Photos, Rainy Day here!
 All it's good for is...
Pathetic I know!

Birdie Stitches Block #1

Here's the completed block....

Sooo Cute!!!

I have used Central Park which happens to contain My Fave Colour of all time
Purple...
Why do so many ranges avoid using Purple?
 Not enough Purple I say!!!!!

I am Trying to Complete a few UFO's at the moment, Lots of Attaching Binding which is not so good now the Temperature has reached the 30's Celsius .
Seems silly have the Air Conditioning on and sitting Under a Quilt...
Quilters are Mad! (In a Good Way) :-)

Happy 2011...

I hope everyone had a fantastic holiday season, I know I did!

I feel invigorated to create and have been happily doing so...

Starting with Little Miss Shabby's Birdie stitchery block of the month.
I have decided to use  a Central Park Jelly Roll
for the 2.5" squares and will strip piece them.
These are my DMC Colours....
I have also cut into my Sherbet Pips Layer Cake...
I Love this line it's sooo cute...
