This is my entry for this Spring 2012 Bloggers Quilt Festival. Now with all the talk of quilt market the last few weeks you would think I would be ready for the festival... ha not the case.
This is a photo of the backing which gives a better view of what I have done.
fantastic festival once again.
I found myself yesterday not wanting to reblog any of my Quilts so I loaded my skittles Quilt on to the Gammill and free motion quilted it.
I love this clam shell pattern....
The skittles I wanted to leave fairly plain so you get a definite contrast...
I dug the ruler out which I haven’t used in a while
and quilted lines 1/4 inch in on all skittles....
Binding is attached, but not sewn down. I know that it isn’t technically finished but my super-woman cape is in the drycleaners and I won’t get it back until next week... so this will have to do.
Thanks to Amy at Amy's Creative Side for hosting afantastic festival once again.
See right hand side bar for details.

It's really beautiful Linda and I love how you have quilted it!!
What a fun quilt-- the clam-shell quilting gives it a lovely texture, and those skittles really do pop. Love it!
